Balmond is a stable and neutral hero (rarely in nerf / buff), because it's also very flexible how to play and build items that can be customized according to the player's wishes, so it's no wonder each Balmond user has different build item preferences and style / style of play alone, there is a build as a full tank, some use it like a fighter, some are mixed up between semi-fighter tankers. According to Balmond's personal best, it is best built as a tank because it can still give great damage from the ult skill (true damage), besides that the defense / defense of this hero is very thick, so it's quite a shame if we build as a fighter.

Balmond advantages:

High HP regeneration, thanks to its passive skill, Balmond will get 4% max of HP when killing minion and 10% max of HP when killing a hero. That way, this hero does not need to go back and forth to fill blood, especially if it doesn't use any system at all , making it able to quickly farm and push towers without having to waste time filling in your cellphone / base.

So try to use this hero on the team, there are other CC heroes like Saber or Aurora.

More or less Balmond build items are almost the same as Chou build items.

The first line build item is a semi fighter hybrid tank build, with this build Balmond will get great healing both from passive skills and Bloodlust Ax item effects, besides that he can also give great damage because it has 1 item attack (Bloodlust Ax), damage 1.5% of the max HP (Cursed Helmet) and reflect damage by 25% of the enemy's basic attack (Blade Armor).

The Balmond item build is actually quite flexible, so try experimenting with various builds so you can maximize the potential of this hero according to your style and way of playing. I personally use build items on the second and third rows more often.

The second line item build is usually used when facing 2-3 mage (magic damager) on the opposing team, while the build of the third line item is used when there is only 1 mage.

The most suitable battle spell for Balmond is Petrify and Flicker.

The ultimate combination - Flicker:

We can combine ulti skills with Flicker, so use the ultimate skill and quickly before the ax touches the ground we have to use Flicker and aim it where you want. This trick must be done quickly just like the combination of Ruby Ulti Flickter, so our hands must be ready and quickly direct the ulti and flicker skills to the right place. Try to practice using this technique in custom mode first, after a long time you will get used to it when you practice frequently.

Tips & tricks for hero guide Balmond:

We recommend that you build this hero as a full tanker because its potential will be far more maximal in the game.

When chasing enemies trying to escape, try to use skill 1 to hit (hit) your opponent so that enemy movements are hampered (there is a stop effect for a moment and slow down), and vice versa if you are trying to run away then aim skill 1 to avoid being hit by enemies so that your movements does not stop, or if you are running away from 1 vs 1 you can accidentally hit first with skill 1 to slow down the movement and run away (even though it is better to just run away).

For Balmond heroes it is better to turn off "Hero Lock Mode", so the hero lock off so as not to disturb during the game, because all the attacks are close range so it's better to play with auto lock only but even if you still want to use hero lock it doesn't matter.

As a tanker without CC skills, try to engage with the team, do not go forward alone because the enemy can easily ignore you and attack friends behind, always position yourself to block the enemy so as not to break through / attack the mage hero and markman in the team.

When attacking the lord / turtle always save the ulti skill to secure / secure killing, with this skill lord / turtle is definitely 100% owned by your team.

Do not use ulti on opponents whose blood is still full, the error of the newbie player that I often see is attacking using the ultimate when the enemy's blood is still above 50-100%, even though true damage will only be large if the enemy's blood is low, you should save the ulti skill for used on opponents whose HP is below 40%.
